Lisa began Irish step dancing at the age of 7 years old under the direction of Mae Duffy, ADCRG of Dublin, Ireland. Lisa was an accomplished dancer placing top 10 multiple times at the New England Regional Championships.

During her dancing career, Lisa became a teacher's assistant with the Duffy Academy. It was during this time she found a passion for teaching.

In 2001 Lisa received her TCRG Degree from An Coimisiún le Rincí Gaelacha which allowed her to open Spirited Soles Irish Dance Academy. Lisa is a member of An Coimisiún le Rincí Gaelacha, Dublin, Ireland; Irish Dance Teachers of North America and the New England Irish Dance Teachers Association.

Lisa's expertise and passion for Irish dance is evident by the countless dancers she has produced during her years of teaching. Lisa's dancers have placed in the top 5 multiple times at the New England Oireachtas earning them a spot to compete at the World Irish Dance Championships. She has had many dancers qualify to compete at the North American Irish Dance Championships; the All Ireland Dance Championships and the British Nationals as well as local and national feiseanna.

Sofia is an accomplished Open Championship dancer, ranked among the top three dancers in New England. She has also placed 24th in North America and has had the honor to qualify and compete in Ireland at the World Championships.

Sofia began dancing at four years old and is currently pursuing a college degree in Early Childhood Education. At the studio, she brings her passions for dance and teaching together, helping students develop strong technique, confidence and a genuine love for Irish dance.
